Construction update - April 2024

RES has been appointed to manage the construction and operation of the wind farm on behalf of ERG SpA who own the project. The civil construction works, lasting through to Spring 2025, will be undertaken by Adman Civil Projects Ltd and the turbines will be supplied and installed by Vestas-Celtic Wind Technology Ltd. A period of commissioning, testing, and reinstatement work will then follow before the wind farm is expected to reach full operation in Q1 2026.

In preparation for turbine component deliveries (scheduled for spring 2025) we will be undertaking some widening works along the Corlacky Road (from its junction with Halfgayne Road to its junction with Corlacky Hill Road). There will be further works to Halfgayne Road in Q1 2025.
